Yesterday, I wasn’t feeling well, so I decided to skip last night’s New York Open (NYO). Today, I took a sick leave to recover, but as I started feeling a bit better by the Frankfurt open, I decided to trade. Despite being under the weather, I managed to achieve a remarkable 7% gain today.
Feeling satisfied with this significant gain, I made the prudent decision to close my MetaTrader 4 (MT4) platform. I won’t be trading during NYO tonight because I want to protect my gains and avoid the risk of losing them in the market’s volatility. Sometimes, knowing when to stop is as important as knowing when to trade.
It was a good reminder that even on less-than-perfect days, sticking to a disciplined approach can yield positive results. Now, it’s time to rest and fully recover so I can tackle the markets with full energy next week. Meanwhile, I’ll be watching the market from the sidelines, keeping an eye on any significant movements and trends.
Happy trading and stay healthy!
